Baby Dress #3

This dress has been a work in progress for the last few months. . . finally was able to finish, and boy was I glad I did!  I added a light blue, almost teal, border to the top and bottom of the dress along with a corsage of red, green and orange felted flowers.  I also wove a green yarn through the bottom border of the dress and pulled it a bit tighter allowing for a "sack" like appearance to the dress.  It is supposed to fit an infant of about 12 months.

My second try at an infant dress. . . . this time I decided to "accessorize" by adding a darker purple border and my own creation of bow's, pom-pom's and buttons at the top.

Ariel Beanie

After seeing my Tinkerbell beanie I did several weeks back, a co-worker of mine had requested an Ariel beanie to be made in similar fashion.  I decided to go with a blue color beanie to represent the ocean, with an orange colored star (starfish in mind).  I also added some green seaweed and, of course, an Ariel pin in the center.

Christmas Presents

I wanted to wait to post these beanies until after christmas because they were gifts and I didn't want the recipient to see them ahead of time :-)

This little "monster" went to Penn for a special little boy who likes to scare himself!

This went to a little princess girl. . . I hope she enjoys it!

I made this adult frog beanie especially for my cousin Averi. . . complete with pink instead of red and freckles

This "minion" went to Florida for my cousin Macy by special request. . .I heard she "loves" it ;-)

Tinkerbell Beanie

I had a request for a special little girl that LOVES tinkerbell for a beanie with the tinkerbell colors.  I created a pea green beanie with accent colors of purple, blue and white (cute fuzzy yarn) and completed it with a tinkerbell centerpiece for the flower.  I hope she likes it!

By special request. . Mr. Lion.  This lil'guy was a bugger to make.  I had no idea the mane would take so long and be so tedious . . . he sure did turn out cute though

Happy Thanksgiving!

As a labor and delivery nurse I decided to do a little "special something" for the first baby born on Thanksgiving. . . I made that special baby a pumpkin beanie!

Baby Shower for twin girls :-)

 Last weekend I was priviledged to attend a baby shower for a good friend of mine. . . Daysha!  She is having twin girls! I created two sets of beanies for her twin to match some monkey onesies as well as an owl and hippo blanket.

 

Introducing. . . . . Beanies!!!

Yes. . . it has been awhile.  I lost my inspiration for a short amount of time, but I think it has returned.  I have been working on some adorable beanies in both newborn and infant sizes.  I am experimenting with adult and kid sizes right now, but nothing has been finished

Free Butterflies!!

The larger grey butterfly has a pink center and green/blue antennae with both a pin and clip on the back.  The smaller butterfly is yellow with a blue center and green antennae. This small one only has a clip on the back.  I have had some really good feedback on my butterflies and so decided to use them for the give-a-way.
